Collection Center Guidelines

The motor oil and filter collection centers will only accept uncontaminated used motor oil. Do not mix antifreeze, transmission fluid, water or any other products with the oil. This contaminates the oil and it cannot be recycled.

Most centers accept up to 5 gallons of used oil per visit per resident. You may only drop off used oil and filters during regular business hours when center employees can help you.

Contaminated Motor Oil

Used motor oil that has been mixed with other fluids such as antifreeze, solvents, gasoline, is contaminated and cannot be collected by the curbside program or the certified centers, so please, don't mix your used oil with anything.
