The Five Corners is home to the Broadway West Theatre Company, upscale cafes, and apparel boutiques. It is also home to the popular Irvington Farmer's Market held every Sunday throughout the year, and is the site of a new redevelopment project.
Irvington is benefitting from over $100 million in capital projects (2002-2007) to improve the streets, sidewalks, and landscape. In addition to this investment, townhouse developments are filling in along the major roads, and an Irvington BART station is planned. |
