Belvoir Springs Extended Stay Housing
The Belvoir Springs, an extended stay housing option in Fremont, is
open once again. Originally built in 1884, this hotel has old world
charm and a quiet, country setting. Guests have a place to call home
for a minimum of 30 days (but stay as long as you'd like).
The Belvoir Springs is located at 36990 Mission Boulevard in the
Niles business district.

Employment Training Panel
Do you employ more than 10 people in your manufacturing business? If
so, you could be eligible for training funds from the State. In
February, Economic Development staff hosted a workshop on this
important program which is designed to help California businesses
stay competitive.

Commute Solutions for Employees
In partnership with 511.org, Regional Rideshare, AC Transit and the
Bay Area Air Quality Management District, Economic Development staff
hosted a workshop last month for Ardenwood area businesses. The
workshop kicks off a process of determining the needs for vanpools
and shuttles to serve this growing business park.
Commuting is a major issue for employees throughout Fremont.

City to Host Chamber of Commerce Mixer
Mark your calendars for Wednesday, June 28 from

Two NUMMI Vehicles Rated Among "Most Green"
The Washington-based American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy
has rated two New United Motor Manufacturing, Inc. (NUMMI)-produced
vehicles as being among the "most green." The Pontiac Vibe and the
Toyota Corolla, both produced at the Fremont facility, made the "most
green" list.
