Retail Gains, Restaurant Growth Fremont's retail future looks bright for 2007. It promises to be another exciting year for retail with a number of new retail centers in the planning stages.

In 2007, more retail and restaurants are coming to Pacific Commons, including Applebee's, Ashley Furniture, Half Price Books, JoAnn Fabrics, Johnny Carino's Country Italian Restaurant, Mancini's Sleep World, Panda Express, Radio Shack, and Wingstop. The Crime Watch Unit of the Police Department has recently undergone a name change. Now known as the Community Engagement Unit, it continues to act as a liaison between the Police Department and Fremont residents and business owners by providing opportunities to strengthen community and civic life.
