    Corporate Site Visit Program Connects City, Businesses
    Making the connection with local companies helps the City better understand business and industry needs. At the same time, businesses are provided within a contact person in the City should they ever have questions or need assistance.     Grade Separation Project Update Construction on the Washington Boulevard/Paseo Padre Parkway Grade Separation Project, the largest public works project in the City's history, is moving along.

    Niles Town Plaza
    Groundbreaking officially kicked off in July for the Niles Town Plaza, which will be constructed on the north side of Niles Boulevard, between H and I streets. Once completed, the new plaza will provide the overall Niles community with a public gathering place, event venue, and source of community pride.

    Environmental cleanup of the former railyard property on which the plaza will be built is planned to begin in September; it's the first phase of the site work that will occur on the plaza over the next year or so. more...
