Free Business Workshop Series continues this Fall The City of Fremont is holding free monthly workshops throughout the year that support small business growth and sustainable economic development in Fremont.

Upcoming workshops will cover:

  • Expansion and Growth Capital

  • International Business

  • Business Planning

  • e-Commerce and Web Marketing


  • All workshops are in partnership with the Fremont Chamber of Commerce and through the Cal State East Bay Small Business Development Center, and will be held at Fremont City Hall, 3300 Capitol Ave., Building A from 9am to noon. more...

    Advertise Your Business at National Night Out 2008 On the evening of Tuesday, August 5, Fremont will have over 150 neighborhood block parties with hundreds of participants as part of National Night Out - the nation's night out against crime. To promote shopping in Fremont, the City is once again helping local businesses advertise during the block parties.     Industrial Land Use Analysis Available
    Does the City of Fremont have enough industrial land to last until the year 2030? Do we have too much? In order to answer these questions, the City recently commissioned an Industrial Land Use Analysis. The completed study, prepared by Economic Planning & Systems, a consulting firm, is available for review.

    This study is being used as a background report for the upcoming General Plan and will help guide policy makers about the projected need for industrial land. more...
