Vice Mayor Harrison was born and raised in Fremont. He attended Ohlone College, and then went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics with a concentration in accounting at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Today, Vice Mayor Harrison is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the East Bay Society of Certified Public Accountants.

 

In addition to his busy career, Vice Mayor Harrison has continued his dedication to public service that was instilled upon him by his father. He has served as President and Treasurer of the Board of Directors of Kidango (formerly Tri-Cities Children's Centers), President and Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Children's Fund of the Bay Area, a member of the Centerville and City of Fremont Combined Project Area Committee, and Director and Community Service Chair for the Fremont Kiwanis Club. Continuing his passion toward children's charities, Vice Mayor Harrison has joined the Board of Directors of Raquel's Kids.

Vice Mayor Harrison was appointed to the Fremont Planning Commission in 2001, and again in 2005. He is also a member of the Alameda County Assessment Appeals Board and Treasurer of the Fremont Chamber of Commerce Dollars for Scholars program.

 

Vice Mayor Harrison is happily married to his wife Jennifer, and they are the proud parents of two boys, Bryce and Hayden.
