Dawn G. Abrahamson is the City of Fremont's City Clerk. She serves as Fremont's election official, legislative administrator, and records manager.
Dawn has over 20 years of experience working in municipal government. Her career began with the City of Pinole where she served in a variety of capacities including Human Resource Analyst, Executive Assistant to the Mayor and Council, Assistant to the Risk Manager, Deputy City Clerk, and staff to the Pinole Centennial Committee. Prior to coming to Fremont, she served as City Clerk in Pleasanton.
Dawn is active in her profession. She currently serves as the president of the City Clerks Association of California and is also the Secretary/Treasurer of the East Bay Division, League of California Cities. She is a Certified Municipal Clerk and has extensive experience in general municipal and special elections, risk management, and records retention. Dawn is committed to enhancing public awareness of government and providing exceptional customer service to all Fremont residents.
