Parks and Recreation Director

Annabell Holland

Parks and Recreation Director Annabell Holland oversees both the City's Recreation Services Division and the Park Maintenance Division. Her team oversees the maintenance of over 1,000 acres of park and open space, and the delivery of recreation programs and opportunities to over 15,000 households a year.

Annabell received her Bachelors degree in Recreation Administration from San Francisco State University, and her Masters in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix. She has worked in the public sector for the past 19 years including the cities of Palo Alto, Campbell, and Santa Clara.

Annabell enjoys working with people, and providing valued services to the community. Her career in municipal recreation has allowed her to appreciate the long-term impact that positive recreation programs, and well-maintained parks, have on the quality of life in Fremont.
