Item 3. Industrial Districts Clean-Up Zoning Text Amendment – Citywide – (PLN2007-00359) – to consider a Zoning Text Amendment to combine the three Fremont Municipal Code articles that provide for the industrial districts (i.e., Article 14.1 for I-L; Article 15 for I-R; Article 16 for G-I) into one consolidated "Industrial Districts" article; clean-up the language used to describe uses within each industrial district; incorporate Article 19, Performance Standards, into the new Industrial District Article; and amend and add definitions used to described uses in the industrial districts. The proposed amendment would not alter existing development standards serving existing or future development. No site specific rezonings are proposed as part of this project. A Negative Declaration was prepared and circulated for this project.
