SHETTY/JAIN PUD AND VESTING TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP - 928 WASHINGTON BOULEVARD - (PLN2008-00188) - to consider a Planned Unit Development, Vesting Tentative Parcel Map 9596, Preliminary Grading Plan and Subdivision Ordinance Modification to subdivide a 16,707 square foot parcel into two lots, construction of a two-story single-family residence on each parcel, and related street improvements located in the Mission San Jose Planning Area. A Mitigated Negative Declaration was prepared and circulated for this project.
Recommended Action: Approve the Planned Unit Development, Vesting Tentative Parcel Map 9596, Preliminary Grading Plan, and Subdivision Modification based on findings and subject to conditions of approval.

PARKS ISSUES FOR GENERAL PLAN UPDATE - (PLN2005-00190) - In preparation for updating the Parks and Recreation chapter of the General Plan, staff will present information on some of the current challenges facing the park system, together with options for meeting those challenges and continuing to enhance the City's parks into the future.Staff seeks Commission input on these policy options.

SELECTION OF COMMISSIONER TO SERVE ON NILES CANYON SCENIC HIGHWAY JOINT CITY-COUNTY COMMISSION- The City of Fremont Planning Commission should designate one Commissioner to serve along with the designated Commissioners from Union City and AlamedaCounty.This Joint Commission shall be called upon to review projects along the corridor for consistency with the Scenic Corridor Protection Plan adopted by the City of Fremont, Union City and AlamedaCounty.
