The City Government of Fremont

The City Council, which includes the Mayor and four Councilmembers, is elected by citizens of Fremont, adopts the City's budget, and makes all major policy decisions.

The City Council appoints a City Manager, who hires all City staff and manages the day-to-day business of the City. Read more about City Government.
