FRC Room Rentals
FRC meeting and conference rooms are available to any individual or organization needing a gathering place. Rooms are available seven days a week from 8am-11pm, with room capacities of 24-80 people. Rental rates vary from $25-$70/hour. more....

Onsite Child Care at Discovery Cove
Do you need childcare for just a few hours? Or maybe you have regular daycare service but need an occasional back-up? The FRC operates a drop-in hourly childcare service for well children. Limit 12 hours a week. Reservations recommended.

Cost.......$6 per hour/child
Onsite childcare is free to FRC clients accessing services.

Four AC Transit bus lines run within a half mile of the FRC -210, 211, 213 and 218.
For detailed directions from your starting point, call AC Transit at 511 or 817-1717 Monday-Friday 7am-7pm, or Saturday-Sunday 9am-5pm. Follow the voice menu to reach bus info. The Family Support Services (FSS) program at the Family Resource Center provides intensive case management services to Tri-City residents. Case managers assist individuals and families in linking to and organizing their resources to support their success. VITA Serves 855 Clients!
The FRC's 2007 Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program served a record number of low-income families again this year. For the fifth year, low-income families were able to get their tax returns prepared for free by trained volunteers at the FRC. [read more]

DAN Invites Members
The Disability Action Network (DAN) is a group of people with all kinds of disabilities - mental health, visually impaired or blind, hard of hearing or deaf, arthritis, cancer, and everything else. DAN members are coming together to have a unified voice and to advocate for affordable, accessible housing; good attendant programs; public transportation; quality health care; fair access to public places; and more. CityServe Joins FRC
The FRC partnership is expanding! On June 1, 2007, we welcome our newest partner agency, CityServe, to our collaboration. Does Your Child Have Asthma?
It's one of the most common chronic illnesses in children. Asthma is a chronic disease of the lungs that causes airway inflammation because tubes in the lungs fill with mucus. The muscles in the airway tighten and become narrower, making it difficult to breathe.

This enthusiastic group of 19 residents - representing 19 different service, cultural, community-based, and faith-based organizations; businesses; or neighborhoods - have come together with an interest and willingness to learn about FRC programs and services, and to share insights about the needs of the community.
