The City of Fremont Human Services Department distributes the majority of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) capital funds  in 2-year funding cycles, which provides more continuity for agencies receiving funding. The majority of funds are awarded during the first year of the cycle, although the City reserves a small percentage of funds for award during the second year for emerging capital projects.  The current cycle began July 1, 2006 and will end June 30, 2008.
