The City of Fremont contracts with Alameda County to operate the Emergency Home Repair Program. The program provides grants of up to $1000 to income-eligible households to make necessary repairs in emergencies.
Examples of eligible repairs include:
Water heaters that are no longer operative.
Roof areas that leak.
Broken or missing windows.
Defective heating systems.
Plumbing or electrical problems.
Other emergency repairs.
