The City of Fremont does not provide Social Security and/or Medicare assistance. These programs are administered by the federal government.
Medicare's Extra Help Program
Medicare beneficiaries with limited income and resources may be eligible for extra financial help. The extra help can increase their cost savings by paying for part of the:
- Monthly premiums.
- Annual deductibles.
- Prescription co-payments under the new prescription drug program.
The extra help could be worth an average of $3,700 per year.
