Central Park's New Performance Pavilion

June 8, 2007


Central Park's newest addition is the Performance Pavilion. This 1,600 square-foot pavilion stands 24 feet tall in the front and 14 feet tall in the back.

Performance Pavilion


The Pavilion is a new venue for outdoor Fremont programming and is available for rent by the community.

Summer Concert Series

The Parks and Recreation Department is bringing back the Summer Concert Series, with sponsorship by The Saddle Rack, a Fremont business. The concerts are free and open to the public; the first concert is scheduled on Thursday, June 28, at 6:30 p.m.

Funding

City park development funds paid for the site improvements and the structure itself. Park development funds are restricted by law; the City cannot use them for police, fire and/or maintenance operations.
