Sidewalk Repair Project

December 4, 2007

The City is launching its annual sidewalk repair project.  The project involves the removal and replacement of sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and driveways located in front of single-family homes.  The primary aim of this project is to make sidewalks safer for pedestrians by replacing concrete improvements that have been damaged by City-maintained trees.

This year's project will occur in the neighborhood bounded by Niles Boulevard, the Alameda County Flood Control Channel, and the BART tracks.
