Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory

The City has taken many steps to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions.  In November 2007, Fremont partnered with ICLEI to quantify emissions from City facilities and vehicles.  The first Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory is now available.

Green Task Force 

 
In December 2007, the City Council established a citizen task force to discuss policies on sustainable practices, climate change, and new green technologies.  The Green Task Force presented a report to the Council on July 22, 2008.
