Applying for a City job is easy! You can apply for a job and update your information at any time. Follow the steps below and you will be on your way.

Step 1 - Register. After you register for an account, you can apply for jobs and use the information from one application to apply for future openings. To register, you must have a valid personal email address that you can check for login information. A free email account can be acquired from many websites, including www.yahoo.com and www.hotmail.com.

To register, click on the "Register to Apply Online" link above.

If you've already registered, click the "Login" link above to apply for jobs or to add, delete or update your application information.

Step 2 - Review Available Jobs. Click on the "Current City Job Listings" link to view the jobs for which we are currently accepting applications. Click on the "Details" link next to a job to see more information about that job.

Don't see the job you want? Click on the "Interest Card Listings" link above to receive an email notice when we are accepting applications for the jobs that interest you. Interest Cards are kept on file for six months.

Step 3 - Complete Your Application. Click on the "Apply now!" link next to the job that interests you. Then complete the City of Fremont Online Employment Application. You will be prompted at the end of each page to "Proceed to the Next Step" or you may also "Return to the Previous Step" to update or modify your application. There are instructions on each page of the application to assist you. You will be notified by email when we receive your application.

The personal information you provide is only used for the hiring process.
