The Tri-Cities Landfill, located at the west end of Auto Mall Parkway, closed its gates to the public on Saturday, June 30, 2007 at 5 p.m.
As of Monday, July 2, 2007 Fremont's new Recycling and Transfer Station is the public waste disposal facility.
