Hazardous Waste

What is Household Hazardous Waste (HHW)?

Household hazardous waste are products commonly used in the home that contain potentially hazardous ingredients.  These products are required under State law to be disposed of properly.  Therefore, it is illegal to dispose of HHW in the garbage, pour down any stormdrain, or on the ground.  Fremont offers a convenient alternative to dispose of your HHW.
