Electronic waste (E-waste) includes a growing range of electronic devices. These include:
  • Cellular phones.
  • Computers.
  • Television sets.
  • Stereo systems. 

Responsible Disposal Options

According to the U.S. EPA, more than 3 million tons of E-waste ended up in landfills in 1997. Since then, computer monitors and TV screens have been declared hazardous waste and are banned from landfills.
