Apartment Recycling

Allied Waste provides recycling service to multi-family complexes (apartment and multiple unit communities). Recycling collection containers are frequently located near the blue metal garbage bins at apartments and other multi-family complexes. There is usually a minimum of three 96-gallon blue wheeled carts for recyclables. These carts can be used to recycle the following clean, dry recyclables:

Bottles/Jars/Cans

Glass: Bottles and jars.

Plastic: All bottles and containers with a recycling symbol from #1 through #7. This includes most soda and water bottles, milk jugs, detergent, shampoo and hand lotion bottles, yogurt cups and margarine tubs.  Flatten plastic containers for more room.

Metal: Aluminum beverage containers, steel (tin) cans, pie tins, and other clean foil.
