The City of Fremont offers a variety of recycling options. Whether you own a home, live in an apartment or work in the city, there are recycling programs available. Please click on your area of interest.

Allied Waste provides recycling containers and collection services for all Fremont residents and businesses. Allied Waste's customer service phone number is 510-657-3500.  Businesses may contract with other service providers.

  • Alameda County Recycling Board - To get a free, comprehensive Recycling Guide call the Alameda County Recycling Hotline at 1-877-STOPWASTE (786-7927) or visit their website. 
  • California Department of Conservation - To look up information on drop-off centers for recycling bottles and cans with redemption value, visit the California Department of Conservation website.
