About Fire

There when you need us.

The Mission of the Fremont Fire Department is to deliver the services necessary to minimize the loss of life and property threatened by the hazards of fire, medical and rescue emergencies, hazardous materials incidents, and disaster situations in our community.

The Fremont Fire Department provides emergency fire protection, rescue and emergency medical services for the city of Fremont.  Every year we respond to over 13,000 calls for help from residents, businesses, visitors, and commuters.

Responding fire companies come from 11 strategically-located fire stations staffed with 13 companies. Programs supporting this service include fire prevention and suppression, paramedic-level emergency medical services, hazardous materials spills response and containment and emergency medical dispatch.

Our goal is to be there when you need us, whatever your emergency may be.
