Minimum requirements for the position of Firefighter with the City of Fremont are:

• Ability to obtain a valid Class C Driver's License by time of appointment.
• Ability to obtain a valid Class B Driver's License by completion of probation.
• Ability to obtain within six months of appointment a valid Emergency Medical Technician Certificate and a Firefighter I Certificate.
• Bilingual skills are desired.
