What is a fire code permit and do I need one?

 
A permit from the Fremont Fire Department is required to conduct specific activities, operations, practices or functions within the City of Fremont. 
 
The most commonly issued permits include:

  • Assembly (seating of 50 or more people) 
  • Auto Repair
  • Dust Producing Equipment
  • Flammable Liquid Storage
  • High-Piled Stock
  • Liquid Propane Gas Storage
  • Spray Booth
  • Welding
