Fire Dispatch

Effective, February 4, 2004, the City of Fremont closed its Fire Dispatch Center and joined the Alameda County Regional Emergency Communications Center. Initial 911 calls will still be answered by Fremont Police Dispatch and then transferred to the new regional center if Fire Department services are needed.

It is expected that this change will be transparent to the individual calling 911 for assistance.

For questions on this transition, please contact Division Chief Larry Anderson at 510-494-4201.
