Rehabilitation Unit

Rehab Unit - Support Services Program

The REHAB UNIT is a Fremont Fire Department Support Services Program staffed by volunteers committed to delivering rehydration and nourishment to Firefighters at emergency incidents and major disasters.
 
This group of volunteers is called to support the Fremont Firefighters at structure fires, wildland fires, HAZMAT incidents, training exercises and other major incidents.  The REHAB UNIT serves such items as Gatorade, water, hot coffee, snacks, meals, etc...

 
This Unit is available 24 hours, 7 days a week and deployed via the fire department communication center.  To obtain further information on this program, please contact the Fremont Fire Department at 510-494-4285.
