Why do I need this permit?

A general contractor may obtain a temporary permit to park one or more trailers or mobile homes at a construction site to be temporarily occupied by security, supervisory or other special personnel. Such a structure may be located at or immediately adjoining a major construction or demolition site.

Note: The applicant may also apply for temporary power service with this permit.

How do I get this permit?

An application for this permit can be made at the Development Services Center at 39550 Liberty Street 8 a.m. through 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. through 12 noon on Friday. Plans for locating the trailer are required for review and should include a site plan, a description of the trailer showing the source and access to water and electrical supplies, sanitary facilities and rubbish disposal. The time period the trailer will remain on the site, as well as the names, titles and functions of all personnel occupying the trailer and their working hours must be included in the application submittal.
