The City of Fremont accepts and issues permits via the FAX machine under the following conditions:

For Building Permits involving minor work via payment by MasterCard or Visa credit card. Please see "Building Permits by Fax" for more information.
For routine Transportation Permits, accounts are set up with the City. Please see "Transportation Permits by Fax" for more information.
For your convenience, permits for signs via FAX are available. Please see "Sign Permits by Fax" for more information.
