Sign Permits by Fax

For your convenience, the City of Fremont now issues permits for temporary promotional signs via FAX, with payment by MasterCard or Visa credit card. The process is available for attached signs i.e. banners and window signs, including window painting only. Freestanding temporary signs are not allowed, except for certain real estate signs (handled separately). Temporary signs must be renewed yearly.

Visit the Development Services Center located at 39550 Liberty Street, Fremont, CA 94538.

When you receive the forms, you may start processing permits for temporary promotional signs via FAX.

NOTE: Contractors must supply current license and workers' compensation insurance information
