Planned District Applications

Why do I need this permit?

The purposes of the Planned District zoning process are:
  • To allow flexibility in the planning of superior developments of all types;
  • To create a mixture of land uses, such as residential and commercial in a single integrated development
  • To allow an increase in density for superior residential development;
  • To allow variety in lot sizes and setbacks; and/or
  • To allow nonconventional residential unit types.

How much does it cost?

At the time of filing, an initial deposit is required depending on the type of Planned District application. The total cost of a Planned District application will depend on time required to process the application. Processing costs are billed on a time and material basis. Progress billings will be invoiced during the review of the project if charges exceed the minimum deposit. A refund will be issued at completion of the project review if excess funds have been paid.
