The 2007 Central Park Summer Concert Series, presented by The Saddle Rack, will kick off Thursday, June 28, at 6:30 p.m., with a country and western theme for the first concert of the season. The evening guarantees fun for the entire family, complete with picnic games for children, arts and crafts, intermission activities, and will also feature The Saddle Rack's famous barbecue menu including: Tri-Tip sandwiches for $7, Grilled Hot Dogs for $4, Roasted Sweet Corn for $3, and other tasty treats.

With a new Performance Pavilion as the stage, Lake Elizabeth and Mission Peak as the backdrop, and an expanded open lawn seating area to enhance the venue, the 2007 Summer Concert Series is sure to be a hit! It will feature five Thursday evening concerts.  After Appaloosa kicks off the series on June 28, concerts will alternate every other Thursday evening through July and August. The concert series wraps up with an afternoon feature concert on Sunday, Sept. 16, at 2 p.m., honoring the anniversary of the Celebrate Fremont @ the Park event.  The Hit Men (Motown) and the Jukebox Heroes (Fremont Rock Cover Band) will close out the season in style.
