Graffiti

Reporting Graffiti in Progress

Call the Police Department at 510-790-6800 and tell them that the graffiti is being painted. Please be prepared to describe the vandals, give a location and the nearest cross street.

Reporting Obscene and Offensive Graffiti

 
Use Report a Hazard/Nuisance or call 510-494-4897 and leave a message with the location, street address, and nearest cross street and a brief description of the graffiti. Obscene or particularly offensive graffiti is normally removed within one business day.

Reporting Other Graffiti

 
Use Report a Hazard/Nuisance or call 510-494-4897 and leave a message with the location, street address, and nearest cross street. Graffiti is normally removed within two business days.

Report a Graffiti Vandal

 
If you can identify a graffiti vandal, call 510-790-6962 to make a report. Please leave the vandals name and the tag they are using. You may be eligible for a reward if the suspected vandal is arrested and convicted.

Maintenance Services Office Hours

8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Monday through Friday

City offices are closed on state and national holidays, including Veterans Day, and the day following Thanksgiving, the day before Christmas and the day before New Year's Day.
