Park Information

Shinn Historic Park and Arboretum

Hours: 8 a.m. to 30 minutes before dusk, everyday.
 
April through September, maximum facility capacity 200 persons. Shinn is an outdoor facility only.
 
The Mission Peak Heritage Foundation will open the Shinn House for group tours or in conjunction with a reservation.

*Bride, groom or parent must be a Fremont resident for resident status.

**Deposit is refundable if no damage occurs, no excessive clean-up is required, and/or if there is no overtime usage.

Reservations

1. Reservation maximum is one (1) year in advance. Reservations must be received a minimum of ten (10) working days prior to reservation date.

2. Reservations are valid with presentation of a completed application and payment of all fees and deposit. You will receive a response by mail.

3. Alcohol use permit must be included with application. Only beer, wine and champagne may be approved.

4. RESERVATION MUST INCLUDE DECORATING, SET-UP AND CLEAN-UP TIME.

5. Cancellation by Permittee: Refund of use fees shall be made where permittee gives written notice of cancellation to the Department at least eleven (11) calendar days prior to the date reserved. Fees for use canceled thirty (30) or more days in advance will be refunded, less 10%; eleven (11) to twenty-nine (29) days, less 30%; ten (10) days or less, no refund.

6. If facility must be abandoned due to rain, City will retain 10% of use fees to cover administrative costs and deposit fully refunded.

7. Allow four (4) weeks for any refunds.
