Help Us Keep Your Parks Safe

City parks are enjoyed by many of our citizens.  Unfortunately, a few persons choose to damage park facilities and plantings.

If you see anyone vandalizing property or painting graffiti, notify the Fremont Police Department immediately at 510-790-6800.

Vandalism might include:
  • Theft or destruction of park property.
  • Vehicles driving recklessly on park property.
  • Vehicles driving on park turf .

Park Property

If you see activity that causes an immediate threat to anyone's personal safety, call 911. The police department non-emergency telephone number is 510-790-6800.

The Park Ranger Service should be notified whenever you discover the results of damage or graffiti in a Park and the violators are gone. Conditions resulting in a visitor safety hazard such as broken play equipment, damaged landscaping, or broken glass can be reported to the Park Rangers at 791-4341. Park Rangers are on duty daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the Central Park Visitor Center.

Broken play equipment, damaged landscaping or graffiti may also be reported directly to the Park Maintenance Division at 510-979-5700.

Callers may remain anonymous if they wish.
