Practices

  • Held weekday evenings.
  • Practice time varies each week.

Requests

  • The 4-5 and 6-7 age groups are the ONLY GROUPS that may request for children to be on the same team.
  • In the older age groups, we will allow siblings to be placed on the same team.

Information Specific to the 4-5 and 6-7 Year Old Leagues

These leagues are instructional ones and game scores will not be kept.  City staff will simulate game situations and help the children understand the game of basketball the first 15 minutes of their allotted hour.  In the remaining time, children will be given the opportunity to demonstrate what they have learned in an actual game setting.  City staff will coach all games.
