About the Class
Personal Emergency Preparedness (PEP) is a three-hour class based on the same curriculum as the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program. This condensed class covers all the important skills that CERT training provides, without the long-term commitment of joining the team. The skills covered include:
PEP training curriculum
Home disaster preparation
Hazardous material awareness
Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) awareness
PEP is scheduled six times per year. Due to COVID-19, all classes are postponed until further notice.
