The mission of the Fremont Fire Department is to deliver emergency services anywhere, anytime you need us. Responding from 11 strategically-located fire stations staffed with 13 companies, we provide many essential services to ensure your safety.
Accomplishing this task takes dedication and commitment. Every year, we respond to approximately 17,500 calls for help from residents, businesses, and visitors alike. We do this effectively and efficiently with one of the lowest population to employee ratios in the County (159 full-time employees serve a population of 226,551) with a budget of $46.5 million.
We pledge to be there when you need us, whatever your emergency may be.
The FFD challenge coin has our logo on the front. On the reverse, is our slogan "Building upon a legacy of excellence and leadership." In the center are our core values, developed by the men and women of the Fremont Fire Department.
The coin pictured on this page is my version of a "commander's coin," which some separated military folks may understand. It will be used by the Fire Chief to recognize excellence in department operations.
