“California Wildlife” by Richard Ellis, a 6’x8’x2’ fiberglass reinforced concrete sculpture. Richard Ellis said of this piece, “The semi-spherical shape allowed for a relatively large, simple form to have maximum impact on the site within a minimal budget.” Owned by City of Fremont.
Mr. Ellis earned an MA in Sculpture, with Distinction, at the Otis Art Institute in Los Angeles. Awarded two “Prix de Rome” Fellowships, he studied and traveled in Europe.
