“Amend” is a monumental sculpture of a flange wheel with vice and screwdriver tools. The fabricated steel piece was created by artist Robert W. Ellison.

Born in Michigan and now located on a mountain near Penngrove, CA, Mr. Ellison received his BFA and MFA from Michigan State University. He is listed in “Who’s Who in American Art” and “Who’s Who in the World.” Ellison’s work is found from Rhode Island to Anchorage, Alaska, to Santa Rosa and in private collections worldwide. Mr. Ellison believes “Sculpture should perpetually intrigue and capture the imagination of its viewers.”

The piece is owned by the City of Fremont.
