Fremont Family Resource Center Buildings are Open

The FRC Buildings are open to the public Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Although both buildings are unlocked, the FRC is a collaborative of 20+ agencies that are separate entities with different reopening schedules. Some agencies are Open with appointments and are seeing walk-in visitors, while others are open By Appointment Only or By Phone Only. COVID-19 safety protocols have been implemented and face coverings are required for entry into the building. Mask dispensers, hand sanitizing stations and temperature screening kiosks are available at each of the buildings’ main entrances. 

Financial Navigator Program Closed to New Referrals

The  Financial Navigator Program serving Alameda County residents impacted by COVID- 19 has ended and no longer taking new referrals.   But help is still available!     

  • For residents in southern Alameda County including Fremont, Newark, Union City, and south Hayward, call SparkPoint Fremont at 510-574-2020 for ongoing 1:1 financial coaching and financial education classes.
  • For residents in Oakland and northern Alameda County, call SparkPoint Oakland at 510-924-3610 for ongoing 1:1 financial coaching.
  • For assistance with credit building and debt management, fill out the IRC Financial capability interest form.
