The City of Fremont Human Services Department administers two grant programs that assist in funding various programs, projects, and agencies that provide services to Fremont residents.

Programs


Notice of Funding Availability


Approximately $2,200,000 in FY 2017-18 CDBG Funds Available for:
  • Acquisition of property for an eligible rental or ownership housing project, to benefit low (80%), very low (50%), extremely low-income (30%) income households.
  • Acquisition with Rehabilitation and/or conversion involving acquisition of existing buildings appropriate for conversion to rental housing which directly increases the supply of new affordable housing units.

**Recipient of this award must complete the proposed acquisition by no later than March 2018**
