Age Well Center at Lake Elizabeth Building

AGE WELL CENTERS ARE NOW OPEN REGULAR HOURS - MONDAY - FRIDAY (8am - 3:30pm).

Masks are no longer required but are "Strongly Recommended" when in the building.   

If you are not feeling well, please stay home and come and visit us when you are feeling better.

You now have a choice of having your meal as "Dine-In" or "To-Go" at both centers.

The Age Well Center at Lake Elizabeth's building is open 5 days a week.  The hours are: Monday-Friday, 8am to 1pm .

Wearing masks are no longer required in the building.  However, it is "Strongly Recommended" that you continue wearing a mask when in the building.  We have masks available if you need one.

WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE BUILDING ?

  • In order to control numbers of people in various parts of the building, please register in advance for activities, lunch and frozen meals at http://bit.ly/AgeWellClasses.  If you need staff assistance, staff are happy to help.  Just give us a call at 510.790.6600 or email us at agewellcenters@fremont.gov

  • The new class sessions are starting on Monday, April 4.  You can find a complete schedule of what is now available by going to page 3 & 4 (for Lake Elizabeth) and page 7 & 8 (for South Fremont) of the April Newsletter.

  • Free health services, billiards, the mobile food pantry and dine in lunch at Lake Side Café is being provided.

  • Frozen meals are available.  Pick up times for your ordered meals will be Wednesday from 10am - 11am

  • Capacity limits are starting to be increased for all classes, including lunch at the Lake Side Café.

Are you an adult 55+ looking to stay active?  If you are looking to attend classes at Lake Elizabeth, go to page 6  to see all the classes being offered.

MEALS

All meals (hot and frozen) can be reserved on ActiveNet by going to http://bit.ly/AgeWellClasses each week or you can call us at 510-790-6600 or email your meal request to agewellcenters@fremont.gov.  Before coming into dine, you must receive a meal order confirmation.

 Meals are pick-up only during the month of February! 

 Regular meals- $5.50 for members and                                                         $7.50 for non-members.                           Special meals - $6.50 for members and                                                         $8.50 for non-members  

Special dietary requests (i.e. vegetarian, gluten free and low sodium) MUST be called into the Chef no later than 24 hours in advance.

Frozen meals are available. These meals are purchased in a 5-pack.  2 sets per person each week.  

Costs: $20 for Members and $24 for Non-Members (5-pack)

Pickup Time: Wednesday, 10-11am

Other services that are still available:

1. Mobile Food Pantry is a walk-up service on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at 10:30 am - 11:30 am.

2.  Bay Area Community Health Services is at the Age Well Center at Lake Elizabeth in the service room.  See page 10 of the newsletter for their monthly schedule.

MEMBERSHIP IS BACK!

Age Well Center Membership is good at both Age Well Centers and allows you to save on meals, classes and later down the line, trips.   

Membership are good for 12 months (1 year).

Costs Effective July 1: $35 for Fremont Residents and                                                                     $45 for Non-Residents
