AGE WELL CENTER AT LAKE ELIZABETH

The Age Well Center at Lake Elizabeth (formerly the Fremont Senior Center)continues offering online classes, services, trainings and curbside to go meals!

We are excited to welcome you back in person on Tuesday, July 6. We cannot wait to see you safely.  For everyone's safety, masks and social distancing will be required.

We are waiting for more guidance from the CDC, the state and Alameda County about room capacity and will have more details for you in the July issue of Age-Friendly Fremont Newsletter.

CLASSES

Are you a senior looking to stay active during the Shelter in Place? If so, sign up to attend  Zoom classes offered by the Age Well Center at Lake Elizabeth.  We have recently started offering a number of classes outside in the park as well.

MEALS

Frozen meals are available to purchase for pickup or delivery each week.

Hot meals are available for purchase for pickup or delivery on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Thursday of each month.  

Go to page 5 of the newsletter above to see the monthly menu and details on how to order.

There will be no substitutions, however, Vegetarian meals can be requested when placing your order. Please make us aware of any important food allergies.

Other services that are still available:

1. Mobile Food Pantry takes place the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at 12pm 

2. Showers for homeless older adults takes place Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 10am to 2pm depending on monitor and supply availability.  Call (510) 574-2041 to reserve a time.



MEMBERSHIP


Age-Well membership has been temporarily suspended at this time.  When normal operations resume, the memberships will start again.  The fees are listed below:

  • Fremont Resident- $32 Annual Fee
  • Non-resident - $42 Annual Fee
