Broadband Availability Study

The City of Fremont is currently conducting an internet availability study. By gathering information about internet needs and use by households and organizations, we can help make sure everyone has access to the services they need.

Please complete this survey if you set up and/or pay for internet services for your home or work location. If that is not you, please ask the person who does these things to complete this survey. We’ll ask for information about your primary residence or work organization's main location in city limits. If you work from home, please complete the survey only for your household.

If the location for which you are completing this survey has broadband, please use a computer directly wired to your internet connection.

If the location does not have broadband, you may complete this survey from any internet-connected device, or you can request a printed survey form by sending an email. You can also pick up a printed the survey at Fremont City Hall (3300 Capitol Avenue, Building A) Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, or call 510-284-4000 to have one mailed to you.

Please answer all questions to the best of your knowledge, but don't worry about getting answers exactly right. If you're unsure about an answer, make an estimate; a good guess is better than a blank answer.

Information collected in this survey is confidential and will be used only for the purpose of the City of Fremont's broadband planning. No personally identifiable information will be reported publicly. Additionally, your responses will be combined with those of many others and summarized in the report to further protect your anonymity.

* Survey will close December 3, 2021.
