Purchasing Office

The City has a decentralized Purchasing Office consisting of a Purchasing Manager and two Buyers. City departments have authority to purchase supplies and services within a dollar value of $25,000 or less. 

Purchases exceeding this amount are done by the Purchasing staff. Vendors seeking to do business with the City must comply with the city’s Business Tax code, and fulfill insurance required by the bid documents.
