Susan Gauthier has served as the City of Fremont City Clerk since September 2014. Susan’s public service career spans over 24 years. She has worked for the City of Fremont since 1990, and has in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the City Clerk’s Office. In 2009, she became a Certified Municipal Clerk—a professional designation granted by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC).
In her role as City Clerk, Susan supervises staff in the City Clerk’s Office, leads the agenda process, coordinates municipal elections, and oversees the City’s Records Management Program.
