Virtual Recreation Programs

1. What is a virtual program and how does it work?: A virtual program is an online class that you, your child, or together can enjoy in the comforts of your home or wherever you are with a computer, smartphone, or tablet. Our programs are LIVE, fun, and interactive, led by experienced staff, through Zoom Video Conferencing.

2. What is Zoom Video Conferencing? How do you access Zoom?: Zoom is an online platform for video and audio conferencing. Experienced instructors run diverse interactive classes through Zoom. 3. What are the system requirements to take a virtual class?: The virtual program participant will need a reliable computer with a stable internet connection, webcam, mic, audio, and access to Zoom. Smartphone and tablets are also acceptable in place of a computer.

4. Once you register for a virtual class at www.RegeRec.com , what’s next? How do I join the class?: All virtual program participants will receive a Zoom Link a few days before class starts. The link will also include a Meeting ID and Password. You will need this to enter the secured classroom. Please ensure your correct contact email and phone number are on file. Be prepared for class by reading our Do’s & Don’ts of Virtual Recreation Programs.

5. Some virtual programs include supplies. How will we receive them?: The virtual program specific staff will arrange delivery to participants or schedule a pick-up, depending on the program. For deliveries, please ensure the correct address is on file, and correct email and phone number is on file for pick-up arrangements.

6. For virtual programs designed around LEGOs, do we need to supply our own LEGOs?: Yes, students may use their own LEGO collection of common pieces, or purchase the suggested assorted pack recommended by the contractor.

7. Certain virtual programs require an additional Material Fee. How do I pay they?: Depending on the program, either a PayPal link will be emailed to you, or if you are picking up your materials, you can pay at the location.
